5th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON PUBLISHING TRENDS AND CONTEXTS

2017 Focus: Research and teaching: status, prospects, networking
20-21 October 2017 – Zadar, Croatia

The 5th International Conference on Publishing Trends and Contexts will take place in Zadar, Croatia, on October 20-21, 2017 and gather experts from prominent European universities and professionals from publishing business in order to address crucial questions in regard to research and teaching possibilities in publishing studies.

Particular attention will be given to the state of research and teaching in publishing studies, to the future scenarios, and to the possibilities of networking both at individual and institutional level.

The organizers are inviting experts from publishing companies, cultural and scientific institutions, as well as individual researchers to address such questions and send the paper proposals in the form of structured abstracts (title, authors’ names and affiliation, introduction, method, results, and conclusion) at the email address zvelagic@ffos.hr.

Deadline for submitting the proposal is 1 August 2017 Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection by 15 August 2017.

The conference fee

  • Early bird (by September 1st 2017) is 100 euros. There is a reduced rate of 60 euros for students.
  • Late registration is 120 euros. There is a reduced rate of 80 euros for students.

Published peer-reviewed conference papers are available at the website of the open-access peer-reviewed scholarly journal Libellarium: libellarium.org

The conference is organized by the Department of Information Sciences of the University of Zadar, Department of Information Sciences of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek, and Center for Educational Publishing from Zagreb with financial support from Ministry of Culture of Republic of Croatia and Ministry of Science, Education and Sports of the Republic of Croatia.
